Contemporary Art

My name is Kelley Meza and my husband Michael and I are happily retired and living the good life in Athens. I earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Texas at Arlington in 1980. For 40+ years, my medium of choice was pastels. I recently transitioned to acrylics and have loved learning a new medium. I’m currently an exhibiting artist at Gallery 211 in Athens and ArtHouse in Trinidad and have been fortunate to sell a number of paintings at both, as well as through Facebook.

A few highlights along the way …

* Demonstrating artist at the Gaylord Texan Resort in Grapevine

* Exhibiting artist at the North Fort Worth Art Gallery

* One-person show at the Warehouse Living Arts Center in Corsicana

* Recipient of several awards in themed exhibits at Gallery 211 and ArtHouse Trinidad

I love the creative process as well as bringing joy to others through my art. My favorite compliment to hear is ‘your work has such a peaceful vibe.’ Look for me on Facebook as Kelley Savage Meza and on Instagram @kelleymeza. Thanks and God bless!
